If you are having trouble starting or finishing a writing project, I invite you to step into my virtual cafe and meet with fellow writers who are also searching for a supportive community and concrete help with their work.
Writing is a lonely task just by its nature. It's very easy to lose heart and confidence if you're also isolated by circumstance (or maybe even by choice) from people who share goals in common with you.
If you're like me, you gain a lot from bouncing your ideas off others and responding to their ideas. You like to encourage other writers and want encouragement yourself.
But you don't live in a writers' colony. You don't have a writer-friendly environment to go out to every day. You don't have colleagues who meet you in a local cafe to talk about your mutual writing interests and goals.
That's why the internet is so wonderful. We can meet each other in a Cafe of the Imagination, no matter where we live.
I've set up a variety of corners, or categories, in the cafe where writers with specific interests or concerns can gather. Take a look at the Categories on the right. Click on whatever interests you and join the discussion.
Or go to "Join the Writers Cafe" page and learn how you can work actively toward your goals.
